
Inclusive Islam Curriculum Unit 1
In Unit 1 “What Is Islam?”, we return to the foundations of the faith to help your child understand the essence of Islam and its manifestation of peace. We’ll explore some of the most core questions of Islamic belief, including, “What is our obligation as Muslims to care for and uplift our communities regardless of people’s faith or non-faith?” and “What is the true meaning of rahim and how does it help us to embrace non-Muslims with equality and compassion?”.

Meaning of Rahim
In Lesson 3, students will explore the meaning of Al-Rahim, one of God’s names that reflects Their kindness and mercy for all. Students will also learn about the teachings of kindness in other world religions and the many ways that we can show kindness towards others.
